Who's that Sketchy Lady?

Sketchy Lady illustrations is a bright and bold, personality-filled art print and gift brand founded in Cork, Ireland, by Laura Philpott.

I love to illustrate and celebrate the joy of simple pleasures and find new ways to make people smile through my artwork with digital design, mixed media and paintings.

I am a proud Corconian and this is strongly represented through my vibrant, playful art. Majority of my work is inspired by happenings in my daily life. From conversations with friends, my favourite food and drink and my travels.

Each collection has a distinctive style and story behind it and I often weave many pop culture references into my illustrations and particularly enjoy using them to create a sense of nostalgia.
